All of humanity is razed from Earth in a single, unanticipated disaster that leaves the few survivors struggling for survival in the eternal void. Upon finding a hospitable planet to colonize, any chance humanity had of regaining a peaceful existence is shattered with the discovery that their attempted colonization had disrupted an intense and bloody war stretching through their potential home, a solar system known as Chronos. The politics with the native alien races are unsteady and threaten to collapse at any moment, triggering a war that would wipe out the little of humanity that still exists.

Fuel is thrown on the fire when a professional assassin named Michael gets mixed up in a deadly game of revenge and spirituality with a race of cultist humans that had disappeared from known space centuries ago, only to reappear brandishing an alien technology so powerful that none can stand before them. What is the design of these deluded crusaders? Such a question is rendered almost irrelevant with the lives of all humanity at stake.

“Very, very polished gameplay, and it is extremely easy to grasp. Lots of action, with is good in a game like this. Not the largest variety unless you do very well…“

Demo 1.0

“Gameplay was good, as expected…“

About

Iruini is an intense platform action/adventure game marked for it’s rich atmosphere and large, open rooms. Based off of the LEGO Bionicle character, the game takes place in an original sub-plot designed to smoothly accompany the official Bionicle story. Spinning off of a shady, mysterious element of the LEGO series, hordes of the Visorak are led to war against the Brotherhood of Makuta, of which Iruini is one. With most of his brothers defeated, Iruini is sent on a quest to reclaim the stolen Mask of Light from a hidden Visorak stronghold. Will he succeed? Hard to know, since the demo ends before that part. Yes, unfortunately, the Iruini project was canned before any further development could take place- mostly due to unstable relationships with our host and a desire to extend beyond the limiting Bionicle fandom, Iruini never realized it’s full potential. Despite this, the demo showcases some of our most atmospheric artwork to date, and it’s one of the first true team efforts Anaglyph has organized.

Reception

“Certainly the best game in Bzp,
the Iruini intro was the killer, it gave such an atmosphere especially the pouring rain, and water trickling down Iruini’s mask. Also, when playing, the sound effects were awesome, as well as the objective commands…“

“Nothing short of amazing, plus I give points for making it focus on one of my favorite Toa. Visorak noises are plenty creepy…“
