Tank Talk

Lots of stuff going on this week, what with the programming and the spriting and the storyline developing… Okay, I have to be honest with you guys. All we did the last week was finally fix the bloody tank animation and hold an informal contest as to who could come up with the longest, most annoying sig. But I’m going to tell you about it anyway.

That’s tell you about the tank, not the sig contest (although Leppy is in the lead with his picture of the moon. Rkaner has refused to put Longcat back in his sig). We finally managed to work out the problem with the tank treads, and Greg sprited them, but before anyone managed to put the thing together we degenerated into the sig fight. However, once finished it is going to look badass. There might even be a more complex animation wherein, if you start to turn the tank, one tread actually starts turning in the opposite direction.

Yeah, that sounded cooler before I typed it out.

Also, Epsy and Alg have been hard at work tweaking the website to make it shinier and more awesome. Some of it involves game thumbnails, which is generally useless but aesthetically pleasing nonetheless. Everyone should worship Epsilon’s pwnage web design/coding skills.

Well, that’s about it for this week. Sorry for the fact that it’s so short. Hopefully our productivity will be slightly above “terrible” by next Friday. Be sure to send some letters in so that I can pad this thing for length next week.
